Hi my first post here, just bought me a Dodge coronet 500 1968 and have started to work with it.I live in sweden so you have to excuse some bad English Words I don´t know if this is a problem or if it´s supose to work like this.I can´t get the fan inside the cupé to blow air if the ac button isn´t pressed. If i push the for example heat the fan does not start.Should it be like this or does someone know.regards Robban
I don´t know what happened, i got 3 threads and i can´t remove the other 2, can some admin take them away.
somebody will clean them up eventually .. i don't moderate at this forum.. this is the sliding levers under the dash board.... hmm..i spent some time looking thru the info i have.. and i cannot really find much.. i don't have actual way the switch works.. i am taking your dash looks like this..if you removed the control assembly it would look like this..the fan switch is on the right.. this is the back side of what the levers operate..the connectors turn on the power to the ac compressor via some other circuit.. i cannot understand exactly how this works.. and i should be able to understand that diagram.. but i am totally lost.. it seems to have circuits running back into themselves. maybe if i colorize it.. it does seem to show that the blower only works if one of the buttons is pushed ..hope you are still there.. and welcomewhen you post and you get an error code.. click the active links .. DON"T reload the page..
even with the wires colorized.. i can barely see how this circuit as drawn might work....
