I have a 1969 satellite with a 318, all original.  Wanted your thoughts if I should go with a new fuel injected engine or stay 100% original?

you have so many choices between those two ..

most of it depends on your wallet thickness. but ever more so.. your mechanical and electrical skills..

also on what your intended use for the car is..

maybe i can help you spend little and make it fun to drive-reliable? leave the engine alone. put a quick change rear end in it. keep the original [rear end] in a safe place. put a holley fuel injection unit on it. convert to electronic ignition. with a quick change rear end YOU can swap gears quickly/easily. it can go down the high way turning few rpm, and save the engine/fuel. YOU can change the gears to burn rubber/ be quick at the strip if YOU want. put a 150 horse nitrous unit on it WITH a pusher system, IF you want a BIG power boost. this can be NOT too expensive IF you shop/DO YOUR HOME WORK.... one mans opinion.
