I'm planning on restoring a 1964 Dodge Dart and swapping the slant-six for a 360, but I can't seem to find any headers or exhaust kits besides one $700 Flowmaster kit! Is it feasible to buy an exhaust kit for a later model (the earliest I can find is a 1967 Dart kit) and modify it to fit my vehicle? Another issue I'm having is not being able to find headers at all for a 1992 360. Will headers that fit a 1991 fit a 1992? It seems to me like they would, but I don't want to do anything without being sure.

there are standard first design LA series heads, and there are magnum type heads which came out later, about the time frame you are speaking about. if you have skills or tools or a good cheap muffler shop around, using the 67 exhaust should work out ok for you.

Thank you for your help. I actually just found out that the 360 I'm looking at is an 89-90 model and I can find headers for it. Everything should work out
