I have a old Hemi with 1551229 cast in the webbing on the back where it would normally be hidden by the clutch.   I took pics with my ''smart'' phone but would anyone know what displacement this may be or should I figure out how to get pics from my phone to here?

Need more info!!  Remember Chrysler, Dodge and Desoto hemi's are all different.

Looks like it's a 1954 Dodge 241.  This is a short block version and parts from other Hemi's do not fit.  I would not recommend using it unless it runs well as is.
Expensive build for little power.

Ok guys thanks,  I'll learn the necessary dog tricks and get some photos out eventually.  Don't hold your breath but I'll get there.
