Does the LA small block require a different thermostat and water neck than a magnum style engine. I know the intakes are different but I wasnt sure if the thermostats were

i looked in a thermostat catalog..
looks like from 2009 and earlier use mostly the same thermostat. you did not supply years to look at..
as for the thermostat housing.. that kinda varies on years and applications.. and which brands are available..
got some years to look up???

I looked on Jeg's website. They have
(9) different housings and thermostats
listed. For the Magnum 5.2L/5.9L....So
I'm sure you can find what you need....
