Never could find any information on the S/Stealth head so the only solution was to buy some.

The intake port window is this erratic rectangle that is slightly larger than the standard port window. The intake bowl is larger than the hardened seat, and because of that, doesn't line up well, same with the exhaust.

This is not a race head and if that is what you want.......get something else.

What you can do, if you can only afford the Super Stealth, and is a simple solution: Get a die grinder, blend the bowls into the hard seats, do a 5 angle valve job, backcut the valve, layback the short turn radius without lowering the floor and open the port window up to Max Wedge size. Do this and you will get the flows in column "easy".

Wanna invest in new hard seats, bigger valves and more porting? See column "hard"

Don't want to go Max Wedge port window using the "easy" column? See column "flop".

OOTB flows are with the biggest valve that will fit the OOTB hard seats, the 2.14". Three different OOTB intake ports.

Lift.........OOTB................easy...........hard..........flop

.100........72/73/72 cfm......73 cfm........75 cfm......73 cfm
.200......150/146/147........145............155...........146
.300......215/205/208........208............218...........205
.400......254/247/250........257............268...........254
.500......270/271/276........295............313...........283
.600......287/271/280........316............344...........295
.700......280/274/280........327............354...........296

Exhaust flows 1.81" valve:

.200......124..........139
.300......161..........184
.400......190..........216
.500......207..........240
.600......217..........259
.700......224..........275

Don't buy this head if you can't do the work yourself or if your buddy won't do it for a sixpack of Bud, otherwise its not worth it. If you don't have the tools or you need more flow than "easy".......GET A REAL CYLINDER HEAD.

Sounds like I am all over their case, but I have always received excellent customer service from 440 Source.

Thank you for posting these, I was looking for this information and only found one moparts post that slightly referenced these heads.

In another post about the regular stealth heads you posted the number
.700".......346 cfm
how would you compare this level of work with the Hard column?

It seems like these heads are a good alternative for someone who was going to buy stealths, replace the hardware and lightly clean them up. I don't feel bad for buying my victors instead.

Good question and it has an answer worth pointing out. Once you learn the nuances of both heads, it would take more time to put the standard Stealth head into the 345-350 cfm range. It would necessitate another column.....harder.....

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out why these heads exist. They sell CNC stealth heads with numbers similar to your easy column for $2000 a pair. By my calculations Super Stealth's with the same hardware would cost about $1400, plus machining costs which in my area would run me about $380. Then add in the time and beer for the porting. You end up with the same heads for close to the same price, if you send them off to a professional such as yourself you would end up in a similar situation, with maybe a slight disadvantage to the super stealth because people don't have experience with them.

It seems 440source missed a chance at the performance market by making another stock appearing head with offset rockers instead of trying to make an affordable performance piece. I guess it still comes down to your first suggestion, if you want more get a real cylinder head.
