4 speed trans and bellhousing

I know this sounds dumb but when i got my duster it came with the 4 speed and What seems to be half of the bellhousing. Is it supposed to look like half or is it really one of two parts? I never really knew to Much about transmissions so any info would be greatly aprreciated! And any tips on how to beef it up a little. Thanks!

Some did have a (2) piece as for inspection, is there any way you can get a number off it, something. I don't know if Lakewood made an explosion proof 2 piece bell housing. I'm just trying to figure out if yours was replaced with a HiPo bellhousing.
