Access Starter - 69 B body with Headers

Looking for any tips and/or tricks for accessing the starter on a 69 B body. I need to tighten the battery feed to the starter and I am having difficulty getting a wrench on the nut to tighten it down. Thanks!

I guess you have got it done already?
With the mini-starters where the terminals face the block, I use one of the battery cables that has holes on each end, and a new starter soleniod wire so I can connect the starter and solenoid wires to the starter before installing it, then just connect the wires to the correct connections at the neutral safety relay.

Actually, I do not have it fixed yet. Problem is, the starter is already installed and the nut holding the wire on has worked its way loose.

Planning on taking the headers loose this weekend. Hopefully I can move them out of the way enough to replace the starter.
