My question is if i switch from a 2.71 geared rear end to a 3.55 how much of a differance would my time be? i have a 74 duster with a 360c.i  .030 over, lunati .480 bracket master cam, torker intake ,and 600cfm carb, best and only run so far was 14.02 @101 only shifting once!

If you can maintain good traction with the 3.55 gear you could pickup a couple tenths without too much trouble. My brothers 75 Duster with a mild 360 runs 13.5 @102mph with the 3.55 pois gear with a 25.5" tall drag radial.  480 cam, rpm intake and 600 eddy carb. Personally I would lose the torquer intake, and install an RPM. Probably a couple of tenth or two right there if traction is good.
Good luck Doc..
