Strange S5281. Really nice adjustable shocks.
4 cylinders are only half a real motor.

Koni, Bilstein, Lamb, Edelbrock, QA1, KYB, Lakewood, Competition Engineering, Strange, Fox, Gabriel, Monroe & probably many others too... try Google search "racing shocks" or maybe even Caps Automotive Products, Just Suspension, Calvert Suspension, Mancini Racing, Moparts, Magnumforce Racing or even a Summit or Jegs parts catalog/web page...

it all depends upon how serious you are about the strip.. and if you have slicks or sticky tires that you need to lift the front end to transfer weight to the rear tires... thats what 70/30s and 90/10s are for..  so the front end will be easy to lift on acceleration..

Edelbrock/Shock/Strut - Front - Performance
Part Number: 33840
Notes: Performer IAS mono-tube. Front with 0" lift/drop.

Edelbrock/Shock/Strut - Front - Performance
Part Number: 33413
Notes: Classic IAS. Front with 0" lift/drop.

Lakewood/Shock/Strut - Front - Performance
Part Number: 40101
Notes: Street/strip drag; 90/10 series; not for street use; front w/0 in. lift/drop;

Lakewood/Shock/Strut - Front - Performance
Part Number: 40121
Notes: Street/Strip Drag; 70/30 series; front w/0 in. lift/drop;

the 0 inch lift or drop specifies the normal ride height of the car currently...
the shocks are designed for a specific ride height.. so the piston will be centered in its stroke...

if you have a lifted car.. or a lowered car..  the shock damping may be off..

just stock shocks will work great for most driving ...  but may be a little soft for performance..

Gabriel Guardian/Shock/Strut - Front
For your 1973 Dodge Swinger 5.2L 2BL 8cyl
Part Number: 82090

Monroe Monro-Matic Plus - Shock Absorber
Part Number: 32022

KYB Gas-A-Just - Monotube Gas Shock
Part Number: KG4509
Line: Performance & Accessory
Manufacturer's Warranty - Retain Receipt
Extended Length: 14.72"
Compressed Length: 9.53"
Stroke: 5.2"

you will probably be happy with the KYB or the edelbrock selections..

again.. it all depends on how much weight transfer you need...  and how much street driving you do..

there are a bunch more choices...  these were just easily available..

what is the difference between a 90/10 shock and a 70/30 shock?

A 90/10 shock lets more weight transfer quicker, bypassing fluid or gas quickly by it's internal valving on the extension cycle, then coming down slowly, much quicker extension cycle than a 70/30 shock...
