NO RACE CARS I'm told. So what are we gonna call a street car. The editors have a challenge just getting that together. So Randy the Bee ought to be legal. Certainly Darren Tedder's Cuda should be. Though I'm not looking forward to him kicking my behind again.

IQ52 Wow those rules are going to be tough to write, I think they need to go farther than just D.O.T. treaded tires, full exhaust with mufflers, registration/license plates & insurance {required for street driving}, I've had some very fast race cars with license plates that, I would occasionally drive on the street... Maybe have them drive a 20 mile route at specific "city limit type speeds", "no cages", must have stock style suspensions & in the stock locations {in the rear at least} & limit the tire size, maybe to around 12"-13" wide at the widest point on the side walls or something along those lines, no mini tubs or back halved cars etc... This will be pretty interesting to see what the powers to be, for the rules, come up with...

Maybe even the magazine or R.Bolig or another person representing the magazine, putting something about the contest, here on the forum, maybe even getting the moderators & maybe even some writers/staff more involved with more stuff, like input & questions/answers on the forum here... Just an idea to help stimulate interest in the MMM forum & magazine...

I just noticed the rules are available on the home page. Check them out. Entry is a little more limited than I originally understood it would be and not much time to enter is remaining. Which is it May 10 or June 8?
"Tetanus" sounds legal but he probably won't meet the beauty requirements. "Send a picture" sounds sounds like an automatic disqualification for His Uglyness. YouTube: Dynomax 72 Dodge Demon
Go to the home page and see that beautiful Viper they have sitting on Andy's dyno! I'd like to run just to visit with Andy again. There should be plenty of time to run cars not actually entered in the contest, but I'm not sure how they're setting this thing up at the NATS.
I'm not a Twittee or a Facebooker so I suppose I shall remain in the dark.

IQ52, Are you going to take something to compete ??, if so, what ??, I'm like a mushroom, kept in the dark & fed crap all the time, I'm not a Tweeter or Facebook type guy either, too many social networks out there, spend way too much time doing just forums to waste any more time on those things also... Good luck in advance...

Nope, we will not be an official entry if we go. I have been in dyno contests in 2008-2011. 4 years and all the $ and family expense is enough. Just the fuel to get to the NATS would be the equivalent of one month of my personal income.

IQ52 that's too bad, I was looking forward to reading about it... Maybe the economy & fuel costs will be better next year...
