Schumacher has long been known for making really high quality parts for Mopars. I've been communicating with Michael Schumacher recently and it seems they are in the process of making headers for the small block A body. Personally, I think it's long past time somebody made some good fitting Mopar headers. The chebbys and phords have had it made a long time with good fitting parts. It's 2010 for goodness sake! They already make the big block A body headers and I've read they work really well. Michael sent me some pictures of prototypes they are working on and gave me permission to share, so here they are.

Do they STILL need an oil filter adapter and no doubt a mini starter? Frankly I'm sick of wasting my money on headers that really don't fit. You hear me Heddman and Flowtech? These do LOOK cool though.

Honestly, the mini starter and oil filter adapter are nothing to me. First, the early 340 manifolds required the filter adapter. Second, the mini starter is light years ahead of the factory Chrysler unit. A lot lighter, too. My main concerns with chrysler headers are NOT going under the K frame, not coming in contact with the torsion bars and not contacting the steering linkage.

Should be a nice add to a street car. Hopefully they will offer ceramic coating.
