Dose any one know how to figure out cubic inches ( 318 + 60 over )?

1. Determine the diameter of the cylinder after the overbore.


2. Divide that figure by 2 to determine the radius of the cylinder.


3. multiply the radius by itself ( r X r = r squared)


4. Multiply r squared by pi  (3.14)


5. Multiply pi r squared by the length of the stroke.  This will give you the volume of the cylinder.


6. Multiply the volume of the cylinder by the number of cylinders (4, 6, 8 ,etc) tod determine the cubic inch displacement of the engine.
