The New Yorker was a model along with the Saratoga Winsor and Royal.  The Highlander was an interior option which included plaid upholstery.  This option was available on the NewYorker (C-30) inwhich the 323.5 cuin flathead straight 8 was the standard engine and the Windsor (C-28W) in which the 241.5 cuin flathead inline 6 was the standard engine.  This option was available, I believe,  thru 1949.  A south western Navajo Indian motif was another interior option.

Thank you for the info.  My Dad had a 1941 Chrysler convertable. It had leather seats and rear wheel covers painted yellow.  He bought it new in 1941 or late 40.  I have  a picture of the car and compared it to pictures of a couple that I have today.  But I can not tell them apart from the pictures.  Knowing my Dad it may have  had a V8 but I do not know.  My Mom sold the car in 46 when he was over seas.  I am trying to find out what he had and then may be get one.

Thank's
