Hello! I need a tranny for my 408 stroker SB. I would rather run a an A-999 904 tranny then the big 727. The A-999 is the heaviest duy 904 made and close (in "payload") to the standard duty 727. I am going to drag race to car on Saturday and drive it to work on Monday. If I build the 904 right would it hold up to 420 hp? Or should I go with the 727 right off the bat and not worry about it? What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
