What does it take to switch a small bolt pattern 8 3/4 rear to the 5 on 4.5" pattern. Is it as simple as an axle shaft swap. Any info on whats involved is greately appreciated.

You will have to change the brakes, Drums, Backing plates but as long as the axels are the same length and spline they will bolt right in.

cool. i was gonna swap to disc anywho. i guess it'll work then. If I were a machine, I'd be a lot happier.
