I am restoring a 1970 hemicuda. When repainting this car does anyone know for sure what is blacked out besides the rear tail light section? I have heard that the front of the radiator support & all that is behind the grille plus the underhood cowl should be also . I almost never see this in fully restored cars though. Thanks for the help.

Congrats on the Cuda buddy.  Yes, the front of the radiator support should be blackened out depending on the color of the car.  All black and dark blue cars (and some dark green) did not have this but these were the only colors that did not have the radiator support blackened out.  I know you have not seen this on other restored cars but believe me.....they were wrong.  To be done correctly as done at the factory, jack up the fron of the car and spray the support from underneath and allow overspray to go where it may.  At the factory the radiator support was painted by a guy underneath the assembly area in an oil pit....sucky job, lol.
