I am restoring a 68 Plymouth Satellite. This is a true Michigan Car, and despite decent care over the years, there is a lot of rust damage. The car has great sentimental value to me, however, and it is about 70% complete. My question is "What is the difference between the 2 door and 4 door chassis? I have found a perfect 4 door donor car, but I'm not sure weither they will swap, even after I cut the middle pilar and replace the rockers. My intension was to use the donor front box, including inner fenders and firewall, the truck and floor pans, and the center frame section and the rear frame rails. Will this work? I am not really concerned with origionality, but I want a solid base that will allow many more years with my baby. PLEASE HELP! I wanted to confer with the experts before taking on this task. Thanx.

The four door frame is not as strong as the two door, you will have troublekeeping the car from trying to bend behind the doors, the four door had more body support and the tow door had more frame support.
Texas acers has frames and floor pans,1-800-667-2764 or www. texasacers.com check them out and see if they don't have what you need.
