Difference in body styles....?

I notice that a lot of cars have different body styles. whats the difference between lets say an A body style and  B? and what years were they prevalent to? and are there any more different body styles then just the A and B?

We will start with the A body is the small cars it is the early Cuda 64-69,63 and up Dart and Valiant, all Dusters and Demons. B bodys are the larger cars the Road Runners,Satellites,GTXs,Belvederes,SuperBees, R/Ts their are to many to put them all down their are C bodys they are larger cars then the B bodys like the Chryslers and 65-75 Furys then you have F bodys like Aspens and J body like front drive LeBarons their are LH and LHS bodys, do you want me to go on?
