Ok guys and gals,

I need some input. What do you guys think about the way the magazine is done? Should we change anything, add anything, delete anything?

The mag is great!! This web sight could use some help as most people think they can get an answer from you guys when they first come to it. Also can you tell me how to get to #### Landy on line or by email I have gone to mopar.muscle@primedia.com but can't find a connection. And as you can see you can't say D-ick or Di-cky  with getting ####.

I would have to agree on the issue of having someone from the Tech group or the Mag it self check more often to what is being asked by us rookies.  Fortunatly there are some real knowledgeable people out here in out group of readers.  But it would be nice to get a response from the pros on some issues or even just some occasional input.

I also would have to agree on the making the Mag longer and that it is awesome.

The articles and pics and layout are great, I save all my mags for future reference, much to the dismay of my girlfriend. But is there ANY way possible to have coverage in the magazine a tad bit closer to the actual event. For example, my February edition came last week with coverage of thr 2003 Nats. There is snow on the ground here. I realize that most of the articles and pics and tech stuff has to be set up in advance, but with something as large as the Nats, and other summer events as well, it would be great to get the news a little fresher. And since I'm on a roll, how did magazines end up 2 months ahead of the actual date? I recieved my February Mopar Muscle in early December. Why don't magazines, not just this one, deliver the February edition in late January? I know these are minor things, but hey, you asked. Mike

For starters, thanks for the replies. Mr. Landy does not have an e mail address that I know of. When we get questions for him, we print them out and snail mail to him.

I realize your dismay with Event Coverage coming out so far after the event has occured. Unfortunately, due to production schedules, doing them any quicker would be impossible. Point in case, we are working on the May and June issues now.

About you receiving the Feb mag in December. I wish I had a logical answer for that other than, everyone always wanted to have their issue on the newsstands first. When it finally it to the point of magazines coming out almost a year early, i guess they realized it's a vicious cycle. Just my opinion...

The website is now in the process of change. We finally have a guy in house to handle the site.

Well, thats a loaded question... Personally, I think more pics of readers rides would be great.. On the other hand more tech support would be nice also...and maybe more information on car shows, like hot august nights in reno, that you`ve not run, but they have a following of over 3 thousand cars showing up each year from all the auto makers, and more MOPARS would be great...steve.

Jc, not sure of what your asking for, unless you would like to know when the show is..? Well typically its held the first week in August, and goes for about 4 to 5 days, but try to book your rooms early, they sell out months in advance.

The part that I personally like is the  old car drags, I even got a autograph last year from the Hemi under glass guys...so, lets all push to get some coverage of the old Mopars out there..and if you want maybe we`ll see you out there...steve

I enjoy your magazine very much, especially the tech articles. I subscribed last year at the Chrysler Performance show in Indy. Got a free Mopar Muscle T-shirt too!! I wear it when I'm racing, which brings me to this request: Every weekend there are at least 20 mopars competing at the local drag strip. I'm sure this is the case all across the country. Would'nt these events be worth covering? or at least featuring some of the cars, their modifications, and et's on a monthly basis? There are some very nice older mopar race cars, our regulars at Terre Haute, Indiana include a 63 sport fury, 64 sport fury, 62 Polara, a hemi-cuda, several Darts, Dusters, and Challengers plus a SB powered FED and a 440 powered altered. Check out the photos page at:

I might even freelance for you in the midwest! heck, I'm there anyway and know most of the racers.

The mag is great, i love it im like all the other guys, though i wish it could be longer but hey, sometimes you cant have too much of a good thing, i love the last few mags that have build ups of the not so hip 318, i have a 73 318 golduster and was planing on building it and now i have many, many options. I like the idea of having more trucks in your mag too, i know they are rather hard to find but i like trucks too, i currently have a 86 dodge truck (i know not classic) but with a built 360 with an rv cam 8 3/4 rear 3.73 gears ... and i just love it, sorry for keepin on goinig but i like to brag when i can. More teck stuff like engine build would be great even if it was just one or  cuople of pages, now i just need to subscibe to your mag instead of getting one at wal-mart (gets expensive at 4 bucks a pop. oh yeah and i get mopar action too. I like seeing the coverage (what little there is ) of cars at the drag strip that are like mine (not blown big stall....) i like to see their times and think that is close to what mine may do. ill hush and let you do your thing

yes i love the mags

G'day Randy

Keep up the great work, how can you improve the mag ? more tech stuff would be great ,the rare finds is good the cars seem to have a bit of history attached and please give the challengers and cudas a rest, how about a section for away from home mopars this could be US mopar over seas or mopars from diferent countrys, by the way Justin I wish we only payed 4 bucks a mag, in Australia we pay 10 bucks and than we have to wait 6 weeks for them to arrive.

Just make sure you have some room for C-body coverage, remember, they're a big (no pun intended) part of mopar History.

Mopar Muscle is the best magazine,I'm paid up to Apr 08 if that tells you anything. One thing in tech would be "How to build a motor CHEAP" for guys like me that are on a "TIGHT" budget and want more.I've had mostly Mopars in my life(9 mopars b4-68RR,69Fury,71Fury,73Duster, 72dart,71p/u,91Dakota, NOW-2000Dakota,41Ply,81nissan, others b4-3fords, 2chevys,2nissans,1pont.) My current project is a '41 Plymouth 4dr. that I hope to install a 318 auto(now a flathead 6cyl 3sp) and change from 6volt to 12volt and I have a set of KMC wheels and need a nice paint job & interior. I have plenty of years in garages & bodyshops, but mostly worked on everyone elses, and now ready to do 1 for myself......CHEAP!     THANK YOU AGAIN FOR A GREAT MAGAZINE!
