Hello, can anyone tell me how I can run Edelbrock jets/rods in a Carter AVS.  I understand the Edelbrock jets are based on AFB and the jets are taller and the rods are shorter.  I have heard that Mopar Muscle had a tech article on how to use the Edelbrock jets in a Carter AVS carb but I do not know which issue that was so I can't back order it.  Any help greatly appreciated, thanks,

Bill

Edelbrock now has AVS carbs and they should have parts for them. Check with Scoggin #### Parts Center 1-800-456-0211, These people can come up with just about any thing.   Sorry about the pound signs but every time I try to put the companys full name on this sight it puts #'s in place of dic k ey , what a deal!!!!

The new Edelbrock jets/rods will not work.  Edelbrock has rigged it up where something is slightly different in an effort to steer you into buying a new carb.  But there is a way to get the Edelbrock rods/jets to work, I am looking for an expert who knows how to do this.  Mopar Muscle had an article, lots of people know of this article, but no one can tell me which issue or fax me a copy of the article so I am at a loss as to how to make the newer parts work on the older carb.   That is the question,
