Hello moving the battery to the trunk of my 70 swinger. NHRA wants the switch to cut off all the power and kill the motor. How do I hitch up the alternator wiring to the switch. The article in the sept 03 issue got me mixed up, not enough details on alternator hitch up.

you should run your charging wire from the alt to battery side of your safety switch ,this way when you cut your power at the safety switch all power will be cut. how ever you run a mag you will have to install some type of grounding switch as a mag makes its own power and must be grounded to kill it.
