I have a 1965 Chrysler Newport that is lowered about 3". I was wondering if there are special shocks for lowered cars or can I use the factory replacement ones? I was just worried that with such a heavy car laying low on new shocks might ruin the shocks.

I AM NO EXPERT, BUT I DO BELIEVE YOU NEED DIFFERENT SHOCKS.   INQUIRED ABOUT LOWERING MY CAR 1 INCH AND WAS TOLD I WOULD NEED DIFFERENT SHOCKS SO I WOULD THINK A 3" LOWERED CAR WOULD REQUIRE THEM AS WELL.
