1964 Dodge HEMI "want to be" or the real thing? I have been trying to research my car VIN number and have been unsucessful. The car is a 1964 Dodge Polara with all of the HEMI body parts. I am trying to find out if it is a clone or is it an original? The VIN# is 6442192659. Where do I go to find out the original sale package?

it's a clone. as per allpar.com, the 426 HEMI was released in 1964 as a race engine ONLY. it was released in street trim in 1966, on B bodies.
