I have a full floater dana 60 with a 4:10 gear and detroit locker. I was needing info on how to convert this to a semi-floater. And also I have a 75 model externally balanced 440 that has been internally balanced (welded weight on crank) Will a zero balanced flyweel work with this so I can convert to a four speed? Thanks

If the crank is internally balanced you could use a nuetral fly wheel. But I wouldn't feel comfortable using a cask crank with a 4 speed. The factory didn't do it. That I can think of.
Useing a floater Dana for a car is easy. Cut the ends off and weld on the correct ends. (you need a jig) then order up the axles. You should have someone do this.
