Will an edelbrock performer rpm fit under the hood of a 69 RR with 440 topped with edelbrock carb and stock 383 cleaner assembly?

It should be no problem since it sits about 1" lower than a 6 pack intake.

I have a 68 RR with a 440 and it did not fit. Holley air cleaner with a drop and still couldn't close the hood. Switched to a Weiand Action +Plus.
