i have a friend of mine that has a 90 somethin lincoln mark 7 with a 5.0(302) stock. well he thinks that whenever i put a 340 six pack in my dodge diplomat that he's going to be able to gimmi a woopin in a race.......... put in your thoughts of this and i'm going to count it as a talley contest. the first one to 10 wins for instance if my car has 10 yes' i win if his does he wins, and i'll post the winner up once the 10 yes' are up.

There is no way a stock 5.0 will beat a stock 340/6-pack, that's unless you are running on 4 cylinders.

lincoln 5.0- 0 madmike or anyone else look under performance on my name to see if you could help me out with the questions i have listed, will be greatly appreciated. could definatly use the help, just lookin for best performance for my ride, not that i need it in this particular race.

Ok Ill bite, You should win just gear the dang thing correctly 3.23 or 2.76 and it will be a tuff go of it 3.55 or better yet 3.90 and it will be a easy race.

You should have no problem as long as you able to keep traction. Piece of cake. Just remember that they CAN be: F ast O n R ace D ay Also if they are set up right. But if it is just stock, NO PROBLEM, MON. Keep us posted.

i was planing on useing 3.55 in a 8 1/4 rear, hoping to get my hands on a 727 3 speed torque flight somehow.

thats what i figured and been told but i wanna scare him before the race. cuz i know i will when that stock lincoln gets the door skins ripped off and the dust of mopar in the widshield.theres already about 15 yes' with just my friends and older ppl i know!!

the kid with the lincoln is gettin smarter, he just got an 05 dodge srt-4 stage 2. it has 280 horsepower 0-60 in 5 flat ,1/4m 13.4seconds,aftermarket intercooler,aftermarket exhaust,blow off valve, boost controller,17 inch rims all from factory, i'm not all about ricers or 4 bangers but at least he's goin to mopar. must of got scared and got somthin to back up that lincoln. the race is still on but i was just filling you in on the brains the kid added.
