I have a 1973 plymouth valiant that I bought for 900 dollars about two years ago. I am just now going to be able to park it and start working on her. She is in decent shape as far as the body, except she has a rusted roof and a banged up fender. I am planning to restore the car to look original, but the motor is going to be built up. I am looking for anyone who can tell me where to find what one looked like completely original. I am also trying to figure out what to do with the motor. I am going to leave a 318 in it, but I want to be able to push at least 350 hp. I am trying to find out what parts I need to make it do this, but also I still want it to be able to run on the streets. If anyone knows about rear ends and about the top end parts on the motor it would be great. I know how to build the bottom end, but when it comes to top end, I don't know that much. If you have any suggestions email me at hatedbyliving@yahoo.com

I'm working on a 1971 Valiant right now. As far as what one looked like original, you should try Google images and look for the sales brochure from that year.
Jegs is a great source for Mopar performance parts. Since the 318 is pretty common engine, you shouldn't have any trouble finding parts for the engine.
A good place to start is the simplest: Fuel, air & exhaust.
