its time for a rebuild on the motor but im a bit confused on what to do with it. I would like to add more proformance to it but what route should i take? Ive did a lot of research but have found no luck on finding any fuel injected 318's that have been motified. Is it worth doing? I dont what to trash it because theres little wrong with it. the rebuild started because of a slow leaking oil pane gasket and thats it. I open for any ideas that any one may have. Thanks!

thanks for the response!i just went to the machine shop today to talk to the guys there and i there really not interested in helping me. i think ill just have to tell them what i want done rather than asking for help. all i get from people is that i just need a 360 crate. im not against it but i want to keep the 318 going. thanks for the tech book i just order one a while ago. Happy Holidays!!

Keeping the 3.910" (stock)bore and increasing your stroke from 3.310" to 3.580"(344ci)or4.000"(384ci) can be done without any machine work.Machine shops would prefer you to stroke a 350ci Chevy(383or406ci)machine shop cost to prepare the block alone is $1200.00...Machine Shops love Chevy guys!!!!!!!!!!!!Build a solid bottom end and the top is where you gain your Horsepower;heads and intake...
