Hey guys,
So i found this 73 cuda online and I'm waiting for the owner to reply to my email. It looks fine from the pictures but i know it can't be perfect although it was recently restored. I'm just wondering if it's still for sale are there any problems to look for? Like hidden rust spots and whatnot?

Only thing I'm worried about is the vinyl roof. Other then that i think it's a good looking car for the price.

Thank you guys,
~Nick

I would take a close look at the frame rails front and back, make sure they are not soft. Check the Torsion bar cross frame to make sure it is sound. Check the floorboards for any holes or soft areas. As for the roof check to see if there are any soft spots that would indicate rust behind the vinyl. If you buy the car the vinyl has got to *** Take your time to inspect all areas of the car.

Thanks! That's what i was wanting to know, Will have to do. Yeah i'm not a fan for vinyl roof. The guy wants $8500 which seems cheap if it's in the shape he's claiming. It's got a 440 in it i just hope it's not from a mobile home... Hopefully i can go with classic car insurance since i just turned 18.
