86 RamCharger engine and trans swap

I have a 1986 RamCharger 4x4 that I want to convert from a 318 with a 727 trans to a 440 with an auto.  Does anyone have any helpful hints or advice?

you will need a big block torque flight trans to match.. as the bolt  pattern is different..  and you might have to swap internals between to get the proper output shaft length... so you can bolt it back up to your transfer case..
