1981 Dodge ram Bighorn Edition

Looking for anyone who has history on BIGHORN edition Pick ups in early 1980s I have a 1981 Dodge ram 250 4x4 with the BIGHORN package factory but having hard time findy how many where made.  

I have a 81 BigHorn, I'm having the same trouble as you are. I can't find hardly any information on my truck.  What features do you have?  My truck is a 4x2 318 long bed with low back (suede looking) seats, and Lil Red Express style wheels.  

Hey there I also have a 1981 bighorn. Mine is a shortbox 2x4 standerd with factory big horn on it. Iknow it originol because i bought it new. please help me find info too thanks  

Hello fellow bighorn seekers,I 2 own a 1981 bighorn.Dark blue with Gold warlock style pinstripe,suede with sheep wool lowback bucket seats.It`s a shortbox with a 360 auto,wearing factory turbine wheels,2 wheeled drive ,any info,pictures or just to BS.contact me @ shane_g@telus.net.Thanks

I have recently purchased 1981 bighorn as well. You said you purchased yours new. Where did you buy yours? My truck has Kilometers on the speedo and is a Canadian made truck. Is yours?

Yah i too also had a 1981 dodge big horn that i got from my father after he died. It got totaled by a friend but i kept the emblems from the side and i would just like to knw how many were actually made. My father bought the truck from my grandfather who bought it new in 81 or 82. My father worked for for chrysler and all he was told is that the truck was made just for testing on the proving grounds and that it was never supposed to be released. So if any one could tell me anything i would greatly appreciate it.Please reply to brandonbird14@yahoo.com
