I am in the process of removing the dash from my 1973 Challenger in order to have the dash pad redone.

I have the whole unit basically ready to come out however.... the long bolts that point downward and are for attaching the steering column bracket to hold it do not appear to come out. The dash will not lift out with these 2 inch long bolts in the way. Does the whole steering column have to be removed if these bolts can't be taken out- to get the dash out?

Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Now that I have the dash removed I am looking for some assistance with the gauge cluster. The clock has a long spring loaded pin that you pull & turn to adjust the time on the clock. Can anyone assist me in the procedure needed to remove this pin in order to take the clock out for repair? Please help!!
