I am switching out my 318 in my 68 Fury III for a 400. What if anything would hold me up,would I need a different trans than the stock 727,will the 318 motor mounts work? Thanks

I am no expert by any means.  What I can tell you is that the 727 is a bullet proof tranny, I've got mine mated to a 451.  As far as attachment goes I am not certain if you are gonna need some sort of 'adapter' to make it fit.  As far as the motor mounts, there is a difference between small block and big block motor mounts.  You will have to change them.
