Ok I have a 1997 dodge 1500 I'm trying to locate this damn crank position sensor, the bible said it was located on the right rear
cylinder head by the trans bellhousing the picture showed it to be near the right exhaust manifold flange too but when looking all i'm finding is a ground cable connected to nothing!! I'm very demoralized and need help please reply thank you

It's bolted to the block right behind right cyl. head, and sticks through a hole in the bellhousing. It is held by 2 bolts straight down at the same angle as the cyl. head.Bolts are Allen or Torx(star)head, I don't remember the size.
