I have a 1998 Dakota R/T with a trashed transmission. I would like to swap the 46RE out to a 727. What would have to be done to make this happen?

Really about almost nothing I have done this before twice the one thing that comes to mind is that you have to cut a notch in the bellhousing for the crank position sensor I know on my 94 dakota mud truck we did one and the mount lined up and all we had to change the drive shafts but that was also in part to the 18 inches of lift and the atlas t case but the mounts linkages and starter all remained we did have to swap the linkages off the a500 but thats about it it has been awhile so all others please correct me and or add thanks Dan
