which stud..?????? front wheel stud??? disc or drum front brakes, rear wheel stud... which model....
and which autoparts store do you live near.. Napa... AZ, advance, Oreilly's
right hand threads or left hand threads...
or are you talking about the exhaust studs that hold the exhaust manifold to the head?????
or some other stud...
Dorman / Wheel Stud Part Number: 610-103.1 Application: With front disc brakes Rear stud Thread: 1/2-20 Knurl Diameter: .673 inch Length: 1-19/32 inch Shoulder Length: 9/16 inch
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dorman / Wheel Stud Part Number: 610-186.1 Application: With front drum brakes Rear Thread: 7/16-20 Knurl Diameter: .472 inch Length: 1-1/2 inch Shoulder Length: 11/32 inch
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dorman / Wheel Stud Part Number: 610-169.1 Application: With motor-wheel rotor Front Type: Serrated Stud Thread: 1/2-20 Knurl Diameter: .620 inch Length: 1-5/8 inch Shoulder Length: 11/16 inch ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dorman / Wheel Stud Part Number: 610-234.1 Application: Front With Kelsey-Hayes rotor Type: Serrated Stud Thread: 1/2-20 Knurl Diameter: .621 inch Length: 1-5/8 inch Shoulder Length: 17/32 inch
what you need to know... the XXX-XXX-1 is a individual bagged product found behind the counter in drawers.. take the -1 number off.. and you get a part number for boxed dorman products... the motormite parts that hang on the hook have a different numbering system.. even though they are from the same company..
i hope this helps.... there are almost always part numbers forged into the back of the studs... those can sometimes be used to match up..

Nothing special. Should be a hardware store item. It is a 5/16-18 thread in the head. I think you'll need something around 1 1/4" long to work with headers.
