Hello,, I was driving around today when I came across a car for sale, it looked like an awesome car so I decided to check it out. After checking it out for a while I realized it was a 1967 Barricuda, now I'm not sure if it had an engine or not because I was in a hurry and couldn't stay longer but I did write down the phone number. Well the outside looked pretty good, no noticeable rust and the paint looked pretty new. The inside looked pretty normal for an old car, the usual wear n tear, n the dash was probably the worst thing on the car but it still was not that bad. I'm telling u this because I've heard these cars are pretty expensive and wanted to get an opinion from someone who knows about cars. I would like to know if $ 5,000 for this is a good deal. I don't know but something tells me I should jump on this deal as fast as I can. Any information would be greatly appreciated and thank u for your time.

Also I will try to put up pictures I took of the car

we get a lot of letters and such around here asking us what something's worth, and frankly, without actually seeing the item, it really is impossible to give an accurate value. Sorry.

Well maybe, if the frame is solid and the body is straight, $5000.00 is reasonable if it has a running drive train.
Chances are a 67 has a 273, if it is a V8.
So you won't be buying it for the power.
However if it is a V8 a swap to a 340 or 360 is that much easier.
Good Luck.
