When I pulled me 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner out of storage this spring, none of my turn signals/blinkers worked.  All four corner are dead.  The 4-way hazard flasher also does not work.  I replaced the flasher unit which made no difference.  The parking lights and brake lights work. Although a different circuit, the headlights also work as does the dome light (which is on the same fuse).

The bulbs all look good as do the sockets.  If I signal a turn eiter left or right (of course the lights do not blink) the turn signal lever will return to neutral so I know the cam in the switch in the column is o-k.

I am thinking I have either a bad turn signal switch in the column or a bad ignition switch. Has anyone seen this before?  Does anyone have any comments on this?
thank you

I received no replies to this despite almost 300 views.   In the meantime, I was working on it.  I solved it so I am reporting back.   After a bit more checking, I discovered that my heater motor and wipers were also not working (on top of no blinkers on any corner).   After staring at the wiring diagrams for awhile in my 1969 shop manual, I discovered that all of these get their power from the accessory (ACC) terminal on the ignition switch.  To check this premise, I ran power directly from the positive terminal on the battery to one of the terminals on the flasher unit which draws its power directly from the ACC terminal on the ignition switch.  Bingo, the blinkers, wipers and heater motor had power (they all worked).  So, I pulled the ignnition switch and discovered that the ACC terminal was corroded/covered in a white-looking residue.  I cleaned the terminal, plugged everything back in and now all is fine.
thank you
