Is there any adjustment to lower the area of the trunk lid at the hinge location, i have replaced the trunk seal and although it seems perfect water still seeps in from the driver side front corner of the trunk lid.  Pete

You can adjust the trunk lid wear the bolts attach to the hinge. Loosen the bolts and tilt the trunk up. This will force the lid to lower against the seal when you close the lid.
If this does not work or you find the adjustment is not even with the rear deck you can also get a rubber malet and hammer below the trunk area were the seal is. This will help the seal seat against the trunk lid when you close it. Go slow and do not move it more than you need to with the rubber hammer.
