318/360 parts swap

I want to swap all the speed parts (cam, lifters, intake manifold, headers) from my 1976 318A to a 1990 or 1991 360. I read that 1991 was the last year for the 360A.
Who can tell me if this is as simple as I think?

It may not be, some of the 89/91 LA 360 motors were actually roller cam motors with a unique lifter.

I'm wanting to swap both cam and lifters from the 1976 318 to a 1990/1991 360. The lifters from the 318 won't work with the cam from the 318?
