Hi, I'm new to the site and I have a few questions. But before maybe you should get to know the car I'm working on. She's an all original, FY1 yellow 1972 Plymouth Satellite. It had been sitting in a field prior to it's purchase, so the field rodents chewed up the wiring in the engine bay something awful.

Now to the questions:

Can anyone point me in the direction of some literature that has decent wiring diagrams in it?

Also, how much of a difference is there between the wiring in a 1971 and a 1972? I can't seem to find a wiring harness for a 1972 Satellite.

Thanks for your time and (hopefully) your help,
Justin.

the nice thing is....   replacement bulkhead terminals are available...  so you can rewire the engine compartment..

which part of the harness is bad... there seem to be 3 sections..

one section for the wiper motor and the the ignition resistor

one section for the power wires and the other engine wiring..

one section for the lamps...

the diagrams look like the under hood plugs are quite similar...

the fuse boxes look different...

some of the under the dash wiring looks a little different and the wiring to the back of the car seem to have different connectors...

so you should be able to use  the 3 different sections of under hood wiring on your 72...

Alright, thanks.

All of the wiring in the engine is chewed up.
