I recently picked up a set of 915 heads pretty cheap, unfortunately, I was so overcome with excitement when I found them I didn't notice the two broken valve guides, one on each head. So my question is it possible to fix the guides the way they are broken, or did I just buy 60+ lbs of scrap? I contacted my local machine shop but they can't tell me without seein them in person, that's a long drive just for them just to tell me they may or may not be junk. I tried to include a pic, if it shows, than look on the 3rd exhaust valve guide on the head to the right and the 3rd intake valve guide on the head to the left. So what do you guys think, repairable? Any input is, as always, greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Most top machine shops can replace the entire valve guide. DSE [Dale Stroud Engines] in Ontario Canada replaced all of mine when I had them built.
