My girl friends dad just offered me a 69 Plymouth fury III for cheep and I am going to take it. My issue is it is a hard car to research I have never owned a Plymouth or a dodge ever so I know nothing about this car. I know it has a good running 318 and is an auto but I would like to know dose this car share the same chassis and suspension of any of the other more popular cars and what size rim and tires can I fit in the back of it and with what back spacing. I would like to do new suspension and replace all the old rubber bushings I looked on summit racing for stuff but there’s not much not what I am looking for were can I get info and parts for this car?

69 C-Body Fury shares the same plate form as the Chrysler full size cars. Year-one will have the parts you are looking for to upgrade the chassis. Rims? Good question. I believe a 15x7 will fit all four corners but you will need to trial fit the rears for clearance, of course it will depend on the tires as well. The Sport Fury in 69 came with 70 series on all 4 corners. However with a little work and the right back spacing of the rim you can probably get a G/60/15 on the rear. Good Luck Doc
