I guess i won't renew this time, after 8 years, I'm sick an tired, of the engine challenge, everymonth,I'd rather read joe averge builds slant-six or a 318 in backyard,Also fastfacts sucks, kills reading the story rewriting what you done wrote,I got so i only like rarefinds, benchracing, youngguns,If i had a magazine you bet i'd do stories on cars built by onwers, who cares if there not topnotch or in primer, I bet 90 percent of your readers rather see something they could buid themselfs, Instead of what moneybags can pay someone elese to buid for them Most of them don't know nothing about cars, there ulgy tires and rims cost more than our cars,so why do we want to read about it,I think you need to focus on joe arvege after all we make up way over half of your readers.WE care moneybags could care less,Yet you seem to cater them

Wow, Tell us how you really feel. I'm sorry you don't like the engine challenge articles, but from the responses we get, it's a popular segment with readers--Anyone else disagree?.

As far as "moneybag" builds as you put it, we very seldom feature cars like that, but will on occasion. It gives readers ideas of things they cando to their car. Most of the feature cars we find are found at car shows, and before we even mention shooting a car to an owner, we do our best to find out the "story" behind it. We don't like to feature "check built" cars that will end up as focal cars at SEMA and then Barrett Jackson--we have been duped occasionally. Like you said, it is about the average Joe.

If he had a "magazine", I hope he'd use spell-check. Barry318

I have been a subscriber for several yrs. and agree that the engine challenge is boring. In fact nearly all of the technical articles are worthless to me anymore. Used to be different. Used to have at least a couple articles each issue that were useful. I don't have a new LX body that needs exhaust or a new hood or do I want to add 129 hp to my magnum 360 truck, etc... JMHO

Wake up and smell the coffee! I'm not a life long reader, but have been into this mag. for at least 7 years.  In these days of internet and all other media competition, our mopar magazine does a great job of balancing out the articles.  Keep on doing a great job guys! **name for new 1970 Super Bee project car: "THE COMPENSATOR"  suggestion one from me, ie mopar news, july '09. Thanks again.
