1969 Coronet.....NON power brakes......doesnt get drove much and the brake pedal feels like you are standing on a cinder block to get stopped. Front hoses or master Cylinder the culprit? The wheel cyl and shoes has been replaced and bled. Whats left?

Has someone already swapped out the master cylinder?  If the piston in the master cylinder is too large, it is more difficult to create the necessary pressure in the wheel cylinders.

I don't know if it would even bolt on properly, but it sounds like someone installed a power-boost type of master cylinder in your car.

There articles out there about his topic, but I don't know where to find them.
