Converting 71 Satellite drums to Discs - Will 73 Satellite Discs work

Got ahold of a 73 Satellite parts car for a number of different parts. I was wondering if the Disc brake system from this 73 will work on my 71. The geometry of the various parts looks really close. I did note a small difference though. The distance between the upper and lower ball joint attachments is 6 inches on the 71, and only 5 inches on the 73. I would think that this would make the upper control arm set lower, and in turn cause the wheel and tire to tilt inwards at the top. Is there enough adjustment in the control arm bushings or some other place to compensate for this? I have also heard that mid 70's F-body discs are an easy swap in this application. Just want to know if anybody has had any luck with this particular 73 to 71 application. Thanks!
