The wiper posts on my 69 Dodge Coronet have frozen. Any way to unfreeze them? I have tried soaking them in tranny fluid for a few days, tried other anti-cease stuff.
Can we get new post? If so, where? used posts that work? How are they constructed internally. They appear to be a cast aluminum with no lubrication holes.

What is this. No one has had any wiper post problems like this? Unbelievable given the age of the vehicles. Oh well. Will just have to keep plodding away to fix the ones I have.

I had the same problem both of mine where stuck, this is what I did; 1st of I spary the heck out of the first one with liquid wrench, clamped it into a vice and with a socket and a extention over the flat metal piece that connect to the wiper trans I wiggled it back and forth I did the for hours and repeated this step for two days, it freed it up some, just enough that I figured it would work, then I grabbed the 2nd one clamped it into the vice and repaeated as with the first one , for about 15 minutes, then I looked over at the propane torch I had sitting on the shelf and said well I may as well try it the worst thing that could happen is I ruin it and buy new ones,, guess what is about 2 minutes it was heated up just ever soo slightly and wow it turned 360 degrees, I let her cool hit her with liquid wrench and heated again in about a minute she was free as a bird, I grab the first one hit it with a lil heat and Bang free as a bird and yep they work well on my 69 B. Note remove the foam gasket, althou I felt pretty good after breather its fumes when it went up in flames I still have a slight tick in my left eye....lol good luck just dont heat them to much, just enough to get um movin the go with the WD-40
