I laughed at the button "new" topic.  I know this is as old as my 67 cuda FB, but I'm new.  I also want to put off rebuilding the front and rear ends, since the project has other fish to fry (pun perhaps intended).

Question is: Is there a way to simply redrill the hubs and axles on a 5x4 setup to allow a 5x4.5 wheel?  And still have a safe ride?  I'll eventually get to the rebuild, esp. up front but not now with screaming little kids...

ps I know I can drop $2K for a new k-mem and coilovers, but not now with screaming little wife!

pps--just found the answer in previous threads, but if anyone has good advice for me, I think I'll redrill out back and rebuild up front, seems the consensus...appreciate any advice!
