If you just bought it, apparently it is something you like, correct? I think it will look cool after you get done doing what you mentioned. I would even paint it flat black.

I have a 74 D100 which now has a 1968 440 HP in it. It has Lil Red Express grille & quad h/lights with a early 80's 8 ft bed. It runs low 13's in 1/4 mi. I had a 318 with a B&M supercharger on it for about 8 months (only drove it to the local track in Cecil county Md. for the most part ) & this really pepped up the old 318, but needed to go faster & I had a 440, so....  Anyway I still have the B&M ( which fits under the hood of the truck! ) & if your interested, make me an offer. It is complete with manifold & 2 different pulleys for different boost. I still have instructions & I installed it myself, it was not hard at all. I originally was asking $1200 ( almost $2200 new ), but have recently dropped that to $1000. Anyway, good luck & have fun. Anything I can help with, let me know. Barry  P.S. I also have a set of headers for your 318, brand new in box.
